As the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Youth, believe in you and become a social entrepreneur!” (YOU CAN BE!) concludes its implementation (2022–2024), time has come to celebrate its achievements and transformative impact on young people across Europe.
Empowering Youth for Social Change
The project aimed to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in young individuals by fostering innovation, social responsibility, networking and leadership. With a focus on empowering youth, particularly those with fewer opportunities, YOU CAN BE! project showcased social entrepreneurship as a tool for social and professional integration providing examples of good practice from 5 European countries, partners in this project.
Highlights of the Project
- Training for Youth Workers: Nantes, France (March 2023)
- Mentorship Training: Skopje, North Macedonia (June 2023)
- Youth Training Workshops: Vilnius, Lithuania (March 2024) and Bucharest, Romania (May 2024)
These events brought together participants from five countries, offering them the skills, tools, and networks needed to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys while fostering ecological and social responsibility.
Key Outputs
As part of the project, three brochures were developed – three support tools for future young social entrepreneurs and those who work with them:

- A Mentorship Manual
- European Youth Training Program Guide on Social Entrepreneurship
Looking Ahead
The YOU CAN BE! project has left a lasting legacy, providing young individuals with the tools and confidence to become change-makers in their communities. As we conclude this initiative, we are happy to have sown the seeds of social entrepreneurship among young people across Europe and thereby have helped in shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future.
