Over 100 pupils and 50 teachers from Zagreb, Varaždin and Osijek visited the labs of the Ruđer Bošković Institute in the framework of our programme STEM. Rastem. Istražujem. 2017.
At the science workshops – ranging from biochemistry to physics – the visitors took part in generating and measuring chemical and physical reactions in a series of experiments relevant to the environment and things we use in everyday life. Afterwards, the participants toured companies where they were able to see just how these technologies are applied in industry and are used to create new products.

Teachers commented:

“Now that I’ve seen the electronic microscope and heard first hand about how it works it’ll be easier for me to explain it to pupils…”.

… I was really impressed that the CEO was there to meet us and that he personally presented the work of the company and took us through the labs”.
